A Landscape of Wellness

Thermea Spa Whitby was a project made complicated by the sheer size and density of the construction. With tight squeezes between the outbuildings, and even tighter timelines, construction required thinking outside of the box.

This landscape has a variety of unique features, such as a network of soakaway pits, saunas installed into the side of a hill, and a large EPDM-lined water retention pond fed by 3 recycling water features (and the soakaway network!). Due to the outdoor-focused nature of the experience, rigorous landscape design was employed in every guest area.

Truly, every nook and cranny of this build is special.
